  1. Lance I know you are American, but IBM and others built on the work of a working man, that of a British GPO (Genral Post Office) enginner who built the first 'Supercomputer' Collossus. Due to use of Collosus to breack the German Lorenz , not ENIGMA, cypher in WW2 , the man never recived the honours he is due. His name- Tommy Flowers. Or, that the William's Tube the first computer memory storage was developed at Manchester University UK.
