  2. Many years ago I was working at a small amusment park when a guest lost a finger. They had sat on top of a screen gaurding a fan on a hovercraft attraction. Then having bounced on it, pushed there finger through the gaurd. They just managed to touch the revolving fan . when asked why, the answer was 'I wanted to see if it was really moving!   5. My parents were both from mining families in the area. I lost two cousins at Aberfan. Every time a coal fire spat, one of my parents would say 'A miner has died'.
