  1. Having worked security at Gatwick in the past. Nothing new. Passengers at search making 'Jokes' . Then being bewlidered at the total sense of humour of failuer, a hard time with the Police, and often being shown off the airport and told Don't Come back, Anytime.

  2. One thing worse than a real bomb threat is a prank one. You spend the rest of the day wondering, what did I miss ? Worse still they breed complacency, right up to the time a real one goes bang.

  4.  @jannepeltonen2036  Thank you. The work is underappreciated, and looked upon by passengers, and unfortunatley at times airports and airlines and a useless buracracy. Point of intrest thoug: Those involved don't usually leave a big flag marked threat about. So the abritryness is nessacary to make sure everyone gets the same treatment. the rest is Security ar epaid to be suspicious. Problem is with Security, nothing happens, your a waste of space, difficult to prove nothing happened, because it wasn't going to, or 'THEY' decided security on the ball , go somewhere else. When it goes wrong of course, you're always to blame.

  7. Many moons ago. A bag at at a UK airport started buzzing. As this bag was due on an El al filight, the flag went up, and up and ..well you get it. In those far off days there was no secure ariea so the bag was rushed by a brave driver (Promissed treble time 2 hours overtime) to an open space, where it was left. The RAOC rocked up, and sent in thier latest toy Wheelbarrow. They then decided to disrupt (Blow to hell and gone with a water shot) the bag. The ATO then put on the Turtle suit and lumbered out. The brave spectators (Hiding behind anything we could find) watched as our hero pocked through various remains of frilly femmine attire . He then picked something up, and started back. As he approched with both hands clasped in front of him, a buzzing could be heard. He approched and opened his hands, an object dropped. When the rest of us had changed underpants and crawled out of the holes dug with bare hands at lightning speed, a vibrator lay there , still buzzing. Apparently a well known female Isralei actress was complaing very vocally threatening the El Al staff at the end of the trip with the Wrath of God because her luggage was missing. When questioned, she became very quiet I'm told.

  8.  @Reman1975  🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Similar happned to a friend who was an air hostess. She came back off leave and was getting strange looks, and no one would look her in the eye. Eventually getting thourghly hissed off , she asked outright Whats going on? Turned out anotrher stewardress, who had a very similar name, had been the subject of an aircrew prank. As Petor will tell you, aircrew are renowned for it. As crew aren't normally customs rummaged, they decided to hide a vibrator in her luggage, and tip customs off. So at the appointed time the customs guy, hiding grin stuck his hand into bag, and pulled out Two vibrators.
