If your maerket is Obese Yanks and Footballers Wives, don't even think they have reached the limit of stupidity.

That's being higly optomistic, first time a dashboard light come on the vehicle will halve in value, you will never be able to afford the Main Dealer price to turn it off.

So buy a Yeti, save a lot of money, and get a better vehicle. . Reliable, easy to work on , and performs on and off road.

I agree the Death of Land Rover.

In other words, very bad design. We know it can happen, but we don't care. So why not have a small solar panel ?

Were ever you are, keep safe .

@9VARZ Oh S*it! There is one good reason for not buying it. The old P38 was easy enough to work on the air suspension, the Discovery is over priced over complicated and bloody useless, go to coils.

Life my friend, is just to short to answer that one.

A 1956 S1 ex mil 88 reached £29900 at Bonhams last month. I paid £150 for my first Series 1.

@AP.h24 Yes, they are one of the f few vehicles going up in price.

@AP.h24 I have a P38 a Dsico 2 td5 and a Disco V8 with gas conversion. All built from bits of others. Old Landy's never die, they just keep others going. Can you se ethis one doing that?

Having learnt to drive on Land Rovers, and driven them and worked on them for 47 years so far. F**K IT! I'm going to buy a Dacia Duster or a Skoda Yeti.

How does your guide dog feel about it ?:-) The Range Rover Classic was the first vehicle displayed in the Louvre in Paris as the eptomiy of design in automobiles. This one wouldn't get in with a tarpaul;in over it.

Probably run howling. The Old Girls, the ones, were functional, cheap easy to produce and worked, so developed beauty that smoothed gentle in the rest of the Series. The Range Rover Classic had a cool clear style, unclutered and understated. This -THING- looks like it melted in the mould. Like wearing a Barbour Jacket and green wellies in central London.

Cost you £11.50 per day to drive an old Defender around London plus what ever that Bandit in City Hall is putting on Disiels now. Us Country Yokels can't afford that.

Better still, just avoid the place entirlerly, you know you want to. I spent 15 years driving busues around there. I'm expecting a fast track to heaven, I've done my time in hell.
1
Now that we both agree on! I'm now working around Dartford. The M25 and the crossing can have thier moments as well.

Looks great, until you have to service it . The old Series 3, when it was the new Series 3, was sold that you could, and I have, strip it down and repair most things with the supplied tool kit.

Lost the bloody plot I think.

Just Exptionally Expensive Parts- The best 4x4 around now are the Dacia Duster and the Skoda Yeti, cheap effecient and go where you want when you want over whtever you want.

@thenobleamerican7872 Acording to our experts if your 6 foot and over 12 stone, , thats about 168 lb , your obese! So most UK health freacks need weight in the pockets to stop from blowing away in a strong breeze.
