  2. if you can read Chinese on Weibo then you would know what really Chinese think after Russia trapped in Ukraine: 1.Decouple with West as much as possible, as soon as possible especially USA. 2.Once attack then must attack hardest, NO Mercy on Taiwanese troops or infrastructure. 3. Ready for NATO military intervention, especailly USA and Japan must join the war. China-Taiwan relation is like Ukraine nationalists-Donbass separatists, Chinese know peaceful reunification is impossbile, Xi is still playing 'Hide your strength, bide your time' for his last chance. because today only 30% Taiwanese think they are Chinese mostly are the old Taiwanese, but even they are pro-Chinese but they still wants to keep ROC flag. only 5% can accept PRC flag and ONE COUNTRY TWO SYSTEM. so war will be only solution, like China reunified Tibet and some area stolen by Soviet India Vietnam also by force.
