South Vietnam became American allies and invited US troops, it's USA tried to contain communism then China massively supported North against South. 2.Vietnam tried to occupy Cambodia Laos and became Soviet ally and joined Soviet anti-Chinese encirclement, China attacked Vietnam until Vietnam withdrew. 3.Vietnam see what happens to Ukraine.

  4.  @aliteralxoixeo21420  Vietnam has been anti-Chinese for 2000 years, because Vietnamese knows if they are not anti-Chinese at home then they would lose own cultural racial identity and became Chinese, then China would 'unify' them like civil war, but if Vietnam's foreign policy is too anti-China then Vietnam would get punishment from China. So history would repeats itself, Vietnam would respect China on international stage but keeps spreading anti-China sentiment at home. Emperor at home, king at abroad

China was biggest food and weapon free supplier to North Vietnam, but after Sino-Soviet Conflicts 1969 and 1975 reunification Vietcong joined Soviet's anti-Chinese encirclement. 2.Vietcong genocided Boat People, nationalized Chinese race assets, even challenge historic borderline against China. 3.Vietnam tried unifying French Indochina Federation even expanding whole Indochina like attacking Thailand. Then China tried to force Vietnam to withdraw from Cambodia Laos.
