China doesn't want war with India especially now China is facing pressure from USA, so India knows and bets China will not fight back after Doklam standoff(Indian troops stays in Chinese lands for 1 month and withdraw), but Modi has so many economic and political internal pressure so he needs to shift foucs and unite Indian nationalism, that's just same story repeated like 1962 war..Mao told India and China were socialist brother so it's better to negociate about border line drew by British, but Nehru thought he has support from USA and Soviet and China just experianced greatest farmine, then he announced FORWARD POLICY to annex Tibet, he thought Mao is not dare or able to fight back....China wants peace but if it's threatening Chinese national security then China will fight back, like Korean War and Sino-Soviet Conflict, why India still underestimate China and didn't learn a lesson??
