that's so funny to make such comparison, Philippines got fully occupied by Japan, but ROC kept resisiting agaisnt Japan until end of WWII, how many Japanese killed by Philippines?

@Vicious-n7w you need to ask why West and Soviet, especially USA let ROC to take over 11dashline, I think it's because ROC is biggest contributor in Asia during WWII, that's why it's like a reward for Chinese sacrifice.

@Vicious-n7w you need to check Taiping island history, well one more dashline including Taiwan, maybe PRC would restore 11dashline in future, because PRC gave up 2 dashline to North Vietnam after CCP gave Bach Long Vi island as gift to Vietcong, now Vietcong is anti-China pro-USA, I think PRC would take back that gift.

@chenghonggoh4746 PLAN was brown water navy for long time, but you think Paracel island and Johnson South Reef is not far from Chinese mainalnd? but why CCP attacked South Vietnam navy in Paracel 1974? because South Vietnam was anti-communist pro-USA in 1970s, why CCP attacked Vietnam in Johnson South Reef 1988 during Third Indochina War(Sino-Vietnamese Conflcits), because Vietnam is anti-Chinese pro-Soviet in 1980s, Yes, it's very far but CCP didn't attack Phillippines because it's during CCP-USA honeymoon in 1980s, so pro-USA Phillippines is not a threat to CCP in 1980s, but pro-Soviet Vietnam is a threat to CCP.
