  1. you know Greece claims almost all islands in Aegean Sea but not whole Aegean sea? it's same like Taiwan or China both claims all islands within 11dashline/9dashline but not whole waters, ironically PRC signed UNCLOS but USA refused to sign, that's why China just like Greece claims only islands and its 12-nautical-mile territorial sea and a 200-nautical-mile EEZ, China never claims whole South China Sea, same like Greece only claims almost all islands and its 12-nautical-mile territorial sea and a 200-nautical-mile EEZ, Greece never claims Aegean Sea internal waters, so Greece and China follows UNCLOS. well, but why Greece and China can claim that big? because Greece is winner for First Balkan War, WWI and WWII, luckily Greece is always on the victory side but Turkey is not. so ROC Kuomingtang is also winner and biggest contributor in Asia for WWII, because Chinese killed more Japanese than all ASEAN countries combined, that's why West and Soviet supported ROC's 11dashline claim in 1945, US navy even gave 4 warships and helped Chinese to take Taiping Thitu island etc 1946, but American Phillippines, British Malaya, French Vietnam didn't even get independence from colonist master, why West didn't give 11dashline to Phillippines and Vietnam then? when West gave South China Sea to Chinese in 1945, Southeast Asia countries didn't oppose ROC's claim, PRC just inherited same claim from ROC after Chinese Civil War 1949, but PRC gave up Bach Long Vi island to friendly North Vietnam in 1957, then changed 11dashline to 9dashline since then, so from Beijing or Taiwan point of view, ancient Chinese used to fish in South China Sea, if ancient history didn't matter? Chinese government even got modern endorsement from international sociaty from both West and Soviet after WWII, so if you want to change WWII order, then you need to convince China in WWIII.
