Taiwan's ROC map still has Mongolia on ROC constitution, it's Soviet supported Mongolia independence, that's why some Han Chinese still hate Russians for that, but don't worry that PRC would take back Mongolia now because desertification in Mongolia is huge problem that even CCP can't sovle. as long as Russia and China is friendly, then Mongolia will be buffer zone, a neutral country will be fine. but if Mongolia invites US troops to train with them, then I think China may claim Inner Mongolia should unify Mongolia soon, even Mogolians are very anti-Chinese but as long as Mongolia government is not pro-US militarily then it will be peace. Inner Mongolia got everything that Mongolia has, but Inner Mongolia GDP is 18 times bigger than Mongolia, maybe Mongolians would immigrate into Inner Mongolia just as Mexicans immigrate into New Mexico.

@franciscosaldana2879 You forgot to mention, it's Soviet supported Mongolian communist independence from pro-capitalist ROC, Taiwan still claims Mongolia in ROC constitution until 1990s but PRC already gave up in 1950s, that's also big reason that Han Chinese hate Russians.

@firedrapeon6012 USA used to contain communist, then CCP confronted against USA in Korean War, Taiwan Strait Crisis, Tibet Conflicts and Vietnam War. Soviet tried to militarily control China like European satellite states caused Sino-Soviet Split. Soviet used to encircle China, then CCP confronted against Soviet in Sino-Soviet Conflicts, Sino-Indian War, Xinjiang Conflicts, Third Indochina War, Soviet-Afghan War, as long as USA is oppressing Chinese then CCP would only regarded USA as NO.1 enemy in new Cold War, and supported any anti-USA force in the world. I think CCP would confronted against USA in Ukraine War and Taiwan War soon. CCP won't attack Russia because Russia got more nukes, China won't be stupid like Soviet in 1969, there's no chance that USA can split China and Russia as longa as they both face US's containment, but Russia will be China's Canada politically economically.

Nope, China would arm Russia against USA because USA is NO.1 threat as long as USA keeps oppressing Chinese, for China now, once Russia collapse then China will be next.

CCP also got encircled by Soviet-led socialism world since Sino-Soviet Split in 1960s: Soviet, Mongolia, Xinjiang separatist, India, Cuba, Eastern Europe and Yugoslavia also support Soviet, only North Vietnam and Albania supported China. when CCP felt very much isolated then CCP felt extremely unsafe and aggressive against both USA and Soviet and their allies, CCP attacked India in 1962 just after Greatest Famine, heavily sponsored North Vietnam against USA in 1964 when Chinese starving, spread anti-colonist revolution in HK and Macau 1967, attacked Soviet in 1969 even China's nuke can't reach far, and support all Maoist revolution in Indochina and Africa, that's when CCP was more backwards and poorer than Africa, Chinese economy was based on agriculture and only 2% of the world but USA got 38% in 1964, today China economy is 18% of the world and got more industrial output than USA+Japan+Germany+UK combined, China will be the USA who can produce all military materials after Pearl Harbour Attack. If Russia also militarily allied with USA against China, if CCP can even brutally lock down 20 million population in Shanghai for 2 monthes then CCP just can arm and mobilize 1.4b Chinese into military industry, I don't know what world would suffer.
