@Dhdh365 1.it was Republic Of China claimed 11dashline in South China Sea as traditional fishing grounds after World War II first, then this claim got supported by both West and Soviet in 1945 even US lents some warhips (USS Decker DE-47) to Chinese took SCS control over, today Republic Of China(Taiwan) still claims 11dashline and control Taiping island Dongsha island. 2.after Chinese Civil War, People's Republic of China (Beijing) inherited 11dashline claim but changed to 9dashline after Beijing gave Bach Long Vi island to Vietcong against US during Vietnam War, Beijing won naval battle against South Vietnam navy in Paracel island in 1974 and Johnson South Reef Skirmish against Vietcong navy in 1988. 3.it's Vietnam building fake islands first then China just did same just faster, US wanted to choke off China's lifeline in South China Sea once Sino-US war breaks out that's why China need to control SCS, now you understand history and geopolitics??

@Fuhrerjehova even as you said is true, China threatened other peacefully for 30 years, how many real wars involving US Russia? even Turkey Saudi seemed not so peaceful today. I can shout anyting as long as not overthrow government or change ideilogy, China is authoritarian in your standard, but I prefer a huge version of Singapore, not huge version of Philippines like India.
