if poor countries can't pay back loans to IMF and World bank, they have to sell high quality assets company's stock share to Wallstreet with cheap price. that's why most high quality mines are controlled by US in Africa and Latin America, that's why you can see Americans are biggest shareholders to those good company in Korea and Indochina after Asian financial crisis, Fleecing of the Flock. Chinese loans are just lower rate than IMF or World Bank, also they are not willing to give loans to such risky poorer countries so they have no choice but only China. for countries like SriLanka, they don't have good technology company and natural resource, then China can only get port lease when can't pay back. China will build the port like British build Singapore or HK, the difference is China peaceful way or military way. for countries like Ethiopia with no natural resources, China can move factories there make it to manufacturing hub for East Africa, Ethiopia will walk a same way like China did.

if Finland is too pro-Soviet, then Western elites call it 'Finlandization', actually most Westerners don't why Tito–Stalin Split, Sino-Soviet Split, CCP-Vietcong Split could happen in communism world, capitalism world couldn't figure out why socialist countries don't stick together like NATO, because communist in Russia Yugoslavia China Vietnam are natianlist first then communist, they just use(or believe) communism as a tool to make their country great, just look at how Plaza Accord influenced Japan, Kosovo War influenced EURO, if you don't have military independence then you have no political economic independence.

@umaersharief 200 civilians (Han+Uyhur+Kazak) got hammered to death on street July 2009 Ürümqi riots , that's why we call them Jihadists, the reason why Xinjiang didn't end up like to Syria even Chechenya just because China is strong, Han dynasty ruled Xinjiang 200 years ago, and Yuezhi, Saka, and Wusun are the aboriginals in history, anyway if you think Xinjiang is not a part of China then tell UN to change it and start your jihad against China.

@umaersharief China and USA has different way to deal with Uyghur jihadists, China would brainwash them in re-education camp with Mandarin and modern labor skills, USA would wash their face.
