Russian Empire supported Uyghur separatists against Qing Empire, Soviet supported Uyghur communist against Repbulic Of China(Kuomingtang), then Soviet gave Xinjing to Chinese communists, then Soviet supported Uyghur separatist against People's Republic Of China(CCP) again, now it's West Saudi Turkey supported Uyghur separatists against Han Chinese, because Uyghurs can always be used by foreigners against China like Kurds.
