I used to think that Americans invented the "China Collapse Theory" because Westerners didn't understand China, but they've been talking about it for more than 20 years, well but sometimes "China threat Theory". So what's the reason? 1. Belittle investors’ interest in China, thereby reducing China’s FDI then keep money at home. 2. Make voters to feel better, otherwise wouldn’t the voters question why this democratic system is performing better? 3. Racism and ideological prejudice. It is very difficult to admit a country with a different race and different ideology.
