@JG-xi4tu Why do you keep showing your ignorance and lies?
both PRC/ROC respects United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, because they only claim all islands within 9dashline/11dashline but not whole water, Today, Greece controls 95% of the islands and exclusive economic zone in the Aegean Sea but still not whole water, so Greece also respects United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, while Turkey only controls 5% islands. Is this very similar to what the Chinese claim? Isn’t it unfair that the Turkish fleet may break into Greek EEZ when they just leave the port? Yes, it's very unfair but Greece was in the winner side in the First Balkan War, World War I, and World War II.
When Chinese claimed 11-dash line, British Malaya, American Philippines, French Vietnam, Dutch Indonesia, all Southeast Asian countries were Western colonies in 1945. Therefore, when the West masters gave the South China Sea as a gift to the friend ROC, the Southeast Asians as slaves couldn't and didn't oppose 11-dash line claim. So why did the United States gave the South China Sea to ally Chinese instead of the ally Filipino? Because The post-war order is always decided by the winners according to contributions during the war and only the big contributors can distribute the spoils, because ROC suffered tens of millions of casualties, KMT/CCP wiped out more Japanese than all of Southeast Asia combined, the Chinese persisted against Japan until Japan surrendered in 1945, all Southeast Asians and Western colonial troops didn't resist long enough but surrendered to Japan in 1942. Therefore, the ROC is the only independent country in Asia that made the greatest contribution to World War II. That’s why the international community has acquiesced in China's claims to the South China Sea, or you tell me why?
The United States deliberately forgot that it was him who gave the South China Sea trophy to the Chinese after WWII, Taiwan is also pretending to be silent when they didn't give up 11-dash line and Taiping island, Dongsha island. Only the CCP lost the English media war and all ignorant people in the world would consider the CCP is an sudden expansionist, but just winning the media war is not enough to force CCP to kowtow.
Anways, PRC's rise is not based on luck, the peaceful rise of the past 30 years is based on the military rise of the previous 40 years, Chinese gained the South China Sea by blood, If you want to rewrite the order of World War II, you must defeat PRC in Cold War 2.0 and World War III as biggest winner, the CCP never relied on the English media to survive and rise up from World War II, the Chinese Civil War, and the Cold War.

@rnb7696 At the end of World War II, the ROC claimed the 11-dash line in 1945, the West and the Soviet Union asked ROC to take over the control of South China Sea after Japanese troops retreated. the US navy lent 8 warships to the Chinese, then the four ROC navy warships landed on Taiping Island, Thitu Island, Triton Island, Woody Island and set up stone tablets in 1946. Today Taiwan still claims 11-dash line since 1945, controls Taiping island and Dongsha island, but Thitu Island was lost in the Philippines due to storm in 1971, Taiwan wanted to take back but canceled military operation against the Philippines under pressure from the united states, ROC Taiwan did not give up the claim on Thitu island until today. PRC just inherited same claim from ROC after 1949, but PRC changed from 11-dash line to 9-dash line after CCP gave Bach Long Vi island as gift to North Vietnam for monitoring US military reconnaissance aircraft.
When Chinese claimed 11-dash line, British Malaya, American Philippines, French Vietnam, Dutch Indonesia, all Southeast Asian countries were Western colonies in 1945. If the United State wants to rewrite World War II order then you guys need to pay more blood in Fourth Indochina War and World War III not only by talk.

@JG-xi4tu When you try to threaten CCP with EVERYONE, like the First Island Chain, the Five Eyes, the G7, the Democratic Bloc, the Free World, or The World, don't you know that the CCP is confronting almost the whole world in the Cold War? at least it's First World and Second World.
You must know about the anti-Soviet Iron Curtain, but have you heard about the anti-CCP Bamboo Curtain in Cold War?
It's Western anti-CCP group 1950-1979: South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, British Hong Kong, Portuguese Macau, Philippines, South Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kingdom of Laos, Kingdom of Cambodia, Kingdom of Thailand, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Kingdom of Bhutan, India, Pakistan, and of course and anti-CCP NATO, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
There are also Soviet's anti-Chinese encirclement after Sino-Soviet split since 1959,
It's Soviet's anti-Chinese group 1959-1989: the Soviet Union, Mongolia, Afghanistan, India, Vietnam, Laos, and anti-Chinese Eastern Europe, Yugoslavia, Cuba, etc.
What I mean is that the United States and the Soviet Union were very happy when they successfully formed anti-PRC containment. They thought that this would be able to isolate, sanction, block, threaten, deter the CCP. It was indeed super suffocating to get contained by both the capitalist world and socialist world led by the United States and the Soviet Union simultaneously from 1960-1980 for 20 years, but nobody remember what was the CCP’s response to such threat?
UN force in Korean War :USA, S.Korea, Australia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Canada, France, the Philippines, Turkey, Thailand, South Africa, Greece, Belgium, Luxembourg, Colombia and Ethiopia provided varying numbers of fighting troops. In addition, Sweden and Denmark each sent a hospital ship, and India, Norway and Italy sent their own field ambulance teams
when you mean EVERYONE, you need to bring more people, because CCP wasn't weak like in Korean War anymore.

@lakan3462 You clearly don't know CCP and Soviet relation in Cold War, I think you need get educated before comment.
Deng Xiaoping considered Soviet's military influence in Vietnam and Afghanistan as anti-Chinese encirclement, then CCP's foreign policy and ideology became more pro-West and liberal,Deng visited ASEAN and the United States to isolate the Viet Cong before war.
CCP launched one-month 'de-Nazification, de-Industrialization, de-Agriculture, De-Infrastructure' military operation, kept attacking pro-Soviet Viet Cong expansionist against Soviet's encirclement, Sino-Vietnamese conflicts 1979–1991, when Vietnam should be defended by Soviet-Vietnamese Treaty since 1978.
CCP attacked invader Viet cong navy against Soviet's encirclement, Johnson South Reef Skirmish 1988, Soviet red navy in Cam Ranh Base didn't even say one word against relatively weak PLA navy then.
CCP armd pro-China Khmer Rouge guerrilla against Viet Cong occupation and Soviet's encirclement, Third Indochina War 1975-1991, PRC defended Cambodia and Laos independence until Vietnam invader withdrew and giving up 'French Indochina Federation under Vietnam rule' dream.
CCP armed mujihideen against Soviet social imperialist's occupation and Soviet's encirclement, Soviet Afghanistan War 1979-1989, when Afghanistan should be defended by Soviet-Afghan Treaty since 1978.
Also CCP exported anti-Soviet revolution in many proxy wars during 1969-1991 like Ogaden War, Rhodesian Bush War, Angolan Civil War, Mozambican Civil War, Eritrean War of Independence, Dhofar Rebellion, Bangladesh Liberation War, Angolan Civil War, Ethiopian Civil War, Afghan Civil War, Insurgency in Laos, Insurgency in Northeast India, Balochistan conflict, Cabinda War, Naxalite–Maoist insurgency, Insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir etc, it's all about PRC wanted to weaken Soviet's encirclement.

The Vietnamese (South Vietnam or North Vietnam) used to be pro-French and anti-communist, pro-American and anti-communist, pro-Soviet and anti-China. Then the CCP intervened in three Indochina wars. Today, the Vietnamese have learned their lesson and do not want the another Indochina war to happen on their own land, because 45-years three anti-China proxy wars resulted in the death of at least 6 million locals. Filipino and Taiwanese soldiers followed the United States in participating in the Vietnam War, but the war did not burn into Philippines. That was because PLA NAVY was too weak at the time and could not retaliate against on your land, but the Philippines Communist has still harassed you for a long, long time. When the Fourth Indochina War breaks out on your land, let's see if you welcome the outcome.
Today, the war in Ukraine only resulted in 20,000 civilian deaths, and only 10,000 civilian deaths in Gaza. When you think the Chinese are cruel, vicious and decisive, the Chinese will meet your expectations.

@Patricia_base You think military defense treaty can deter and scare CCP? you don't know history and geopolitics at all.
CCP humiliated US by bombing Taiwan's Kinmen for 21 years, Second Taiwan Strait Crisis 1958-1979, when Taiwan defended by Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty 1955-1979.
CCP armed N.Vietnam against US imperialist and Vietnam collaborationist, Vietnam War 1955-1975 after massive anti-communist troops landed in Vietnam as Bamboo Curtain.
CCP withdrew PLA after Western troops retreat and Vietnam reunified, SEATO 1954-1977 failed to deter and contain CCP, or protect American puppet in S.Vietnam.
CCP attacked South Vietnam invader, Battle of Paracel Islands 1974, US navy in Cam Ranh Base didn't condemn tiny PLA then when S.Vietnam was defended by SEATO 1954-1977.
CCP kept attacking pro-Soviet Viet Cong expansionist, Sino-Vietnamese conflicts 1979–1991, when Vietnam was defended by Soviet-Vietnamese Treaty since 1978.
CCP attacked invader Viet cong navy, Johnson South Reef Skirmish 1988, Soviet navy in Cam Ranh Base didn't even say one word against weak PLA navy then.
you think Cuba can deter USA with Soviet support? you think Ukraine can deter Russia with NATO support?

@viperabyss ok, so why such defense pact failed to deter CCP in Cold War? beucase you are uneducated about history.
CCP humiliated USA expansionist by bombing puppet regime ROC's Kinmen for 21 years against Bamboo Curtain, Second Taiwan Strait Crisis 1958-1979, when Taiwan should be defended by Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty 1955-1979.
CCP armed N.Vietnam and sent combat engineer troops against USA imperialist and pro-USA Vietnamese collaborationist in Bamboo Curtain, Vietnam War 1955-1975 after massive anti-communist troops landed in Vietnam, when S.Vietnam should be defended by Southeast Asia Treaty Organization treaty.
CCP attacked Soviet revisionist against Soviet's encirclement and caused nuke crisis, Sino-Soviet conflict 1969, Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Alliance 1950-1979 became useless.
CCP attacked South Vietnam invader and retook territory from 9 dash-line, Battle of Paracel Islands 1974, US navy in Cam Ranh Base didn't condemn extremely tiny PLA navy then even when S.Vietnam still should be defended by SEATO 1954-1977.
CCP withdrew PLA troops after Western occupation force retreated and Vietnam reunified, SEATO 1954-1977 failed to deter and contain PRC and Communism, West failed to protect Western dictator puppet in S.Vietnam as Bamboo Curtain.
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics-Socialist Republic of Viet Nam: Treaty of Friendship and Co-Operation signed in 1978-1991.
Afghanistan-Union of Soviet Socialist Republics: Treaty of Friendship, Goodneighborliness and Cooperation signed in 1978-1991.
