That's very typical mindset like tourists from developed countries visited Eastern Africa and hate the locals embraced modernization, they love the local culture so they don't want to see locals live in concrete jungle, they want the locals remain so original and primitive, but 99.9% of them won't live in premitive house any longer then just fly back to London or New York. So if Guizhou government want to make those wooden house is modern inside and primitive outside, then government need to spend a lot of money and make it as tourist place, Guizhou is not rich like Switzerland so the locals don't have money to keep primitive and modern same time, everyone loves Aman Resorts but you need money.
