@jeanchen3346 there's no such a country called ROC Taiwan, ROC is just ROC why put a Taiwan province behind ROC? constitutionally it's a Chinese government, Taiwan returned to ROC after 1945, ROC is a Chinese government so Taiwan returned to Chinese, but PRC replaced ROC in 1971, today 95% countries only recognize PRC, so ROC position is like Somaliland, well how many Taiwanese identify themselves as Chinese? would ROC president call herself as Chinese?

@jeanchen3346 you better remember, it's USA intervened in Chinese Civil War first and cut off Taiwan strait, it's UN force bombed border village on Chinese side first, the enemy is at doorstep again just like how Japan used to invade Beijing through Korea and Manchuria, why can't China defend sovereignty and safety near border? it's not China landed Mexico and trying to intervene American Civil War.

@jeanchen3346 you don't even know Sino-Vietnamese Conflicts last 12 years? let me tell you why CCP punished Vietcong. 1.Vietcong genocided Boat People after reunification, how many Chinese-Vietnamese minority died? 500,000. 2.Vietcong kept attacking Chinese civilians on border, well border dispute never settled because Qing Empire and French Indochina never drew clear borderline, so dispute became conflict and war. 3.Vietcong not only want to occupy Cambodia Laos even attack Thailand, CCP need to stop Vietcong expansionism. 4.Vietcong signed military treaty with Soviet 1978, it means Vietnam joining Soviet's encirclement against China. I don't know why you only trust Western estimated data, 9000+ Chinese died on border war, but Vietnam never release her death toll.

@ericsierra-franco7802 let me use Western standard to justify Russia and China. 1.Russian minority got genocided by Ukraine government since 2014 in Donbass , so Russia should liberate Donbass from neo-Nazi government in Kiev, just like how NATO blamed Yugoslavia genociding Muslim minority, then NATO liberated Bosnia Kosovo from Serbia. 2.if Ukraine is real liberal democracy, Ukraine should give freedom to Donbass freedom fighter, Kiev should respect self-determination, respect Donbass separatist' referendum. 3.USA warned to nuke Cuba, but Soviet finally gave in and withdrew, if USA really cares about Ukraine lives, why USA didn't make compromise like Soviet saved Cuba lives? if Ukraine should bomb Donbass separatist for 8 years, and defend sovereignty from Russia invader. then China should bomb Taiwan separatist for 8 years and defend sovereignty from USA invader.

1.China hit Vietnam and run within one month, then it's 12 years Sino-Vietnamese Conflicts on disputed border, because Qing Empire and French Indochina never settled border line, it's CCP wanted to punish Vietcong for genociding Boat People, it's CCP to force Vietcong to stop invading Thailand and occupying Cambodia and Laos, it's CCP punish Vietcong for joining Soviet military encirclement against China, CCP didn't occupy undisputed Vietnamese land, today border line is settled by negotiation.

2.Taiwan got returned to Chinese from Japan since 1945, constitutionally ROC is also Chinese government, so Taiwan belongs to China since 1945, PRC and ROC both claims Taiwan since 1949, the problem is which government should control Taiwan, but PRC replaced ROC in UN 1971, now it's ROC controls Taiwan province, but technically Chinese Civil War never ended, ROC PRC signed peace treaty, you can say China is surrounding Taiwan, you can say PRC is surrounding ROC, but it's just civil war just like USA vs CSA, it's not foreign invasion.
