  1. Great episode, but I am not sure I agree with Nash. I kept thinking about the Me-110, Herman Goering, and the "Zestroyer" doctrine the Luftwaffe was in love with at this point in the war, and we all know what happened: heavy firepower and twin engines were not a substitute for a maneuverable, high-performance single-seat fighter. Me-110s were hacked down in the Battle of Britain and other fronts in large numbers when put against fighters, and I can't see the S.E. 100 doing better against German Me-109s, even theoretically....no matter how ridiculous its gun-power. (TEN 20mm?!!)
