When I tried to introduce him to my friends he would always say yes and then not show up. When I would get upset he would put me on a guilt trip saying that I only wanted to do that so they would laugh at him and tell me he's not good enough for me. At the same time he was so pushy to meet my parents. He never did because something inside of me was screaming “DON'T DO IT!”. I was in love with him, magnetised by him, but at the same time afraid and expectant for the next hurtful thing he would say or do. Emotionally I was a mess and I kept it all to myself. The good thing I did was that I never cut ties with the people I fully trusted. What made me cut him out of my life was a slip of his tongue about my place in his future plan. He tried to brush it off as a joke so I made it look like I went along with it. I could never get enough courage to tell what bothered me to his face, not all of it anyway. After our last date I wrote everything down and sent it to him. I blocked him for a while so that I could gain full control over myself.
