Municipality cannot add a sales tax into its revenue source unless it’s approved by Province and Doug says no. Chow agrees. Yes this is a transit city and discouraging driving is one step forward.   19. To a further extent. That’s why a left wing government doesn’t stay in a city like Toronto forever neither. Right now we have a crisis. Once resolved biz incentives need the kick in and a right wing government will replace it. You see from Miller to Ford to Tory etc. low income households are required to support the city’s operations.
