What was most shocking to me was how casual the woman was when she walked up and spit on the young woman as though it was just a normal everyday thing.

While it is indeed sad to see the demise of a brillant black man, at some point it is time to say enough is enough. No one can hurt you like your own and Kanye has and is doing such harm to Black Americans amazingly with the approval of other Black folks. It is time for Black folks to demand more from all people, including our own. It is also time to stop allowing talent to be a cover for despicable behavior.

What is the matter with this woman that she thinks all her vitriol against the Black community will be erased by going onto a couple of black programs. SMH

Despite all my teaching to the contrary, my teen daughter now thinks it is ok to smack someone who offends you because Will Smith did it. I wonder how many black kids now think this is appropriate and will put themselves in danger because of it. I believe Will was responding more to redeem himself with his wife for initially laughing. Now his son is saying, "This is how we do it." A tragic legacy.

@M.Evans5622 It seems Jada has so emasculated Will by things she has said and done that he felt like he had to prove himself to her after he saw her disapproval of Chris Rock's joke

If a person makes statements online for the specific purpose of inciting harassment and even violence against another person isn't that an illegal act,? Wouldn't this especially be true if the accused party was made aware of the harm and threats to others from this kind of conduct by him and continued these actions? Also, why can't this woman bring civil action against this man?

This is not just frightening but reminiscent of something out of a KKK handbook in my opinion. The idea that these cowardly men harassed this young man and felt entitled to essentially "show his papers" should be extremely disturbing to any decent individual. I hope all of these individuals' employers see this video and determine they do not want these kind of unhinged individuals representing their companies.

The comment referring to landlords in their "palatial abodes" is inaccurate. Most landlords are actually small mom and pop landlords who depend on rent from their tenants to pay their mortgages. Many are on the verge of losing their properties. Both sides are suffering and this is often lost in the discussion.

I am thru with Janet Jackson. I used to feel sorry for her, especially after Justin Timberlake threw her under the bus. Don't feel sorry for her anymore and now thinking she may have deserved it and will never buy another record or anything else from her. The fact that she has not made any attempt to correct these lies says to me that she is in the same category as all the hate mongers.

Apparently you have not heard anything Roland shared or know anything about Candace Owen's continued derision of the Black community. Talk about truth. Can you share anything positive she has ever said about the Black community? Because I can't. Sorry, you're not invited to the cookout either.

This is clearly a terrorist threat and should be charged as a felony and hate crime. If the local police will not do the right thing this needs to be handled at the state level or federal level as a civil rights violation. Shame, shame on this police department.

One's effort to keep from losing their life savings that they scraped together to buy a rental as a single parent should be important too. I am blessed in that my renter has truly gone out and hustled to keep a job and paind their rent. If they had not I would have lost my home as I couldn't have paid that mortgage and mine too as a single parent. Unfortunately, I have a friend who scraped together the funds over a period of years while working 10 to 12 hours a day to buy two rentals. Under the current moratorium she is about to lose both. This represented her retirement portfolio. She will likely be living in poverty as a senior. Tell me what is fair about that?

Can you imagine what happened when he got her back inside the hotel room. The issue that no one seems to be addressing is the actuons of the Intercontinental Hotel who allegedly sold the video footage to Diddy. What is their culpability in this matter if they did that and failed to protect Cassie or report this to police?

I agree.

Thank goodness this Amazon.worker pressed charges. Don't understand why the records for the residents on the floor can't be subpoenaed by police and each resident interviewed in order to identify the perpetrators. It appears police are reluctant to vigerously pursue prosecution against these perpetrators. Shame on the apartment complex management and owners.

Thank God these two are hopefully being held accountable. Now it is time to hold Fed Ex accountable. Possibly a boycott is what is necessary to get their full attention and prompt Fed Ex to act.
