  3. Plastic thermostat housing are very prone to fail, Plastic is not optimum, but it's used by all, cheaper, light weight....

  4. Has the oil filter on top, where it should be like VW, no crawling underneath, use a vac oil sucker, stay on top, and it is a Hengst, must be the old Daimler influence for years ago

  5. PINK coolant...G13...didn't know they made green any more. VW says, if you mix not good, causes it to change color and ruins the pink stuff, use the stuff required, not universal

  6. Knipex have fantastic hose clamp pliers, with a unique tip that rotates and grips several versions of spring type clips....KNIPEX, made in germany, excellent stuff
