  6. I pulled the dash on our VW Passat 1996, years ago,for replacing the heater core leak... I was impressed how the stuff is put together, wiring harness, snap together, wires exact sizes to be where they should, lot going on under there...it took a few days cus i worked slow, not to snap plastic snaps and stuff, heater core was list price $140...on sale for $8.98, for real, OEM, cus it was past 10 years, they wanted to get it out of stock...and it all worked no more leaks, and all the electrical worked, steering wheel need a new use once bolt, which dealer had in stock...that's why dealers get a lot of labor charges, all labor
