  5. Setting up with the latest test equipment is gonna be extremely pricey, all modern cars need to have modern test equipment. Liability insurance....accountants, tax problems, oy vey....lot involved to be in charge, and doing the work....good luck...maybe having to pay bills on time will have you see why shops try to upsell and bring in some money

  6. Serious question....getting all the equipment ya need is expensive!!! alignment rack? Ya can't do front end work without it. Subscriptions to data diagrams etc, for the scan tools? Medical and liability insurances, business insurances against law suits etc....getting supplier accounts set up on credit for parts and materials....good luck, I hope this works out well, no more 8 hour days, nope 12+ to keep things going...the financial overhead to run a repair shop is massive, ya will see why dealers get $135/hr...and charge for basic diagnoses
