  2. that's why manual STICK is best...but the interlock is in the clutch instead of the gear lever, years gone bye...no such switch, one less thing to fail

  6.  @mllarson  Actually age itself does cause stuff to decay, rot, dry out, fail, fade, crumble,crack,corrode, lubricants dry out, headliners fall down,if age didn't matter, why do they make new ones?...and just generally fail. Especially in hot humid wet Fla environment.

  7.  @mllarson  Actually wrong cars from 70's 90's 90 will certainly corrode and rust before a modern car will. Newer cars use better steel, lighter thinner yet stronger and anti corrosion coatings are much better than ever, so are the paint jobs..my first car was a 1966 Chrysler 3 years old...don't miss any of that junk at all, compared to new stuff they are un drivable like stuff from the 80's and 90's i had em all..In 1987 i went German and never left, 17+ vehicles i drive a lot 316,000 on one, replaced new one was much better, and on and on, current 2019 is the best one yet same brands, stick of course German of course

  10. needs new headlights, yellowed and unsafe..or you should do polishing lens when you get the old junkers in, unsafe when the plastic is all yellow and fogged, like human cataracts

  11. time to scrub the floor, all that oil and debris, then epoxy coat, and it looks like new, for the bldg owner...so don't do that.

  12. 2 hood pneumatic struts, a bygone feature, now 1 and done, if ya even get a pneumatic one, and not a prop rod....but VW has 2 hood latches as do many others, instead of just one...wonder what the new stds are
