  2. Most mfg don't want rotors to be resurfaced, they are cheap enough, just change em, OEM...every 100,000 miles on my VW . With such high miles, why wouldn't a legit shop change rotors with the pads...they got ripped off

  8. I've been at teh same VW dealer since 1987 17+ vehicles I drive a lot, never ever have they done me wrong. If it needs it, they do it, if I think it needs something, they check, and say, nah, unless you want to spend money, ya don't need this or that. Dealer service, means more sales, when service does it right. I don't go anywhere else for our VWs...which is why they run and run 316,000 on one, finally got tires of it, got another one, and many many more after that ..current Golf R stick of course, is the best one yet
