  1. they actually did a good design, by moving the engine back toward firewall, off the axle for much better balance and handling, like a Ferrari does, for real. Once in a while GM does something right

  2. I was amazed on one of my many VWs 316,00 miles in several years, never ever changed any hoses for cooling, i was always expecting to, but never needed. they never leaked, or mushed out...they must have used good materials. So they probably change it if stuff lasts too long, can't have that.

  3. Ya still have cold starts in Fla....it matters. Use Motul or Liqui Moly. Define cold start.

  9. Amsoil is not superior ..it's marketing nonsense. Why do any of the bottles ever list mfg's specs, that it meets. cus they have not tested to various mfgs specs. all oil is not the same, additives matter. Motul, Liqui Moly,Castrol all have mfgs specs on teh packaging. Some 0-30W is correct weight, but won't have that it meets a VW 504 spec, means it's not the same as a 0-30 from same mfg that has VW or Porsche, or Audi spec numbers. Same for GM, Ford etc. All finished oils, are not the same. They may start from the same base lube, but additives matter. Same as coolants themselves, no one fits all

  10. Dash is certainly nice and shiny, which is also dumb. they make dashes dull, flat matte, so you don't get sun glare etc. Fla.....has lots of sun?
