@pheelix- yes, it looks like this was dispersing the water in a more of a mist, than paint peeling forces. that paint was beading water , they must wax it once in a while

Hey, no car maker recommends any oil additives. If you have to add something to the oil, you are using the WRONG oil. Fact. amsoil doesn't have all mfg spec ratings, why not. It's not universal. Stop saying it's the best. It doesn't have mfg spec numbers on it, why not? Look at the sticker on this VW, see spec number? Is that on the amsoil label, like it would be on a Motul, or Castrol, or Liqui Moly container. It matters, it also affects emissions on never models, that's the reason for specifications

they have taped the sunroof, wanna bet they have clogged drains, and didn't do proper maintenance? It's in the book of things to do, certain model years where worse than others. I never had a problem in my 17+ VW Audi we had, have cus ya do the maintenance. clean the drains
