  1. That belt is way past it's replace time...I always change them way before they look like this.....belts are $20 cheap, broken belts cost a lot more. VW has a 60,000 time, i do it around 45K, just cus...

  3. leave the smooth idler or tensioner as last, so it will slide over, or under the smooth surface easier than getting onto the ribbed sections
