  1. Leave the AC ALONE, if it works, don't fix it...I've had VW's 10 years old, with AC never been touched, don't start poking and cause issue when it's working. as dangerous as those quick lube joints that tell you to change transfluid when mfgs have specs that say otherwise....my Vw dealer says they get lots of stuff to fix, after those quick lube places do "maintenance". Don't touch stuff that works, if mfg. doesn't say to do it..
