  1. Does your oil have the mfg specs? all oils are not the same. Lots of oils don't have VW spec 505, 504 501, etc., while others do, that's the stuff to use on my stuff. Even between same brands one has a different rating than the other type Motul and or Liqui Moly...weight is NOT the only spec that matters....

  2. BG cleaner is useless. Most makers say to not use any additives, it's unnecessary. Use the proper oil, that has the specs for the brand, as if the mfg spec is not on the oil bottle, it's not the stuff to use, that matters. All oils are not the same. additives vary in the oil. generic marketed oil additives are useless, one additive for all engines is illogical
