  3. VW says no oil additives, ya use the oil that meets mfgs spec on the bottles, that's all ya need. VW loves Motul, Liqui Moly Castrol VW 502 504 505 507 etc etc etc

  4. you have to get some Knipex hose clamp pliers, they latch on the clamps with swivels, German engineering

  6. there are so many different spec sealants per mfg VW Audi had a spec on a tube that was mandated when some covers where removed stuff was like $100 a tube at the dealer. They had to use it to have the warranty be in effect. All kinds of spec numbers. all not created equal

  7. You have generic oil, it's not all the same, again, mfgs spec call for different stuff, not just weight. Even among same brands certain Motul or Liqui Moly don't have the spec number called for a particular model, year...modern engines are a lot more demanding
