  4. Yeah that resistor connector block looks bad, for being outside under the hood, doesn't look water tight, cheesey, Ford quality is Job 1, nope, more like 23, VW has the resistors inside behind the glove box out of the wet and dirt

  5. Just think in the time it takes to swap the motor stuff, in the assy line, and entire dash board is pulled into position, bolted in place, several connections made, and dash is in...repair the part in a dash is always more work

  7. Maybe that's why if failed, under the hood exposed, lots are behind glove box, inside, no wet, no corrosion

  8. I have never had a blower motor go bad ever in 25+ vehicles over the 5 decades, and I drive a lot, easily 1.5 million by now or more,the resistor might be bad, i had one of them go bad, but that makes for just single speed, no control, but it still works
