  2.  @spaceflight1019  modern cars don't rust like stuff even 10 years ago...much improved sealers, and metal components...heck VW had a 12 year unlimited miles rust and corrosion warranty, and that was in Jersey with slated winters, I never had rust or corrosion issues here....If cars are made properly, they don't rust out and corrode..paints are much better on newer cars also. There are exceptions...GM, Ford, Jeep, might not actually be up to other makers spec , our 10 year old VW Tiguan is shiney like brand new, not one spot of dull or fade...German Tiguan, but robots painting them in Mexico now are the same stuff...same high quality
