  1. Vw audi way back 20 years ago had regulator issues..plastic glides along rails would crack..make it jam. But on the audi..you could get just the redesigned plastic part..on the vw you couldn't..had to replace entire regulator part was crimped on cable..the audi had bolted on that was replaceable and redesigned...the vw was the same design..I changed like 4 in one car over 316 000 miles
