Please explain countrys like Saudi Arabia & Iran, who seem to have religious dictatorships & beat women and sometimes murder people for not obeying the Koran . Surely it is free will that God gave us?..yet we hear so many times of these countrys where Islam first came from! enforce the Islamic religeon on their people from birth.. these countries are severe and they say their laws are based on the writings of the Koran .. but the behaviour of the leaders are barbaric & they rule with a 7th century behaviour. Just like in christianity, different interpretations, yet they all claim their version is the right one..This isn't a criticism of your religeon.. it's an observation of a 70 yr old
