The only way to put down rents in london is if properties become cheaper to buy . otherwise landlords will just sell up..I agree that rents are at a ridiculous price But so are house prices!..The only way around this is to build more social housing.. some landlords i know who use agency's to let their properties and they will always push for the highest rental prices becausethat's how they make their money. So its a bit of a vicious circle 💰.
