More and more people need to call these companies out to their EU representatives and name and shame them on every new site in Europe! DW news doesn’t talk about this. TVP would but you Jason, I’ve seen you on TVP so that’s the time for YOU to name and shame these companies! Make sure EU representatives bring this up during sanctions review!

That was a fantastic minute by minute breakdown by Chuck! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite segments on YouTube! Thanks Chuck and Kyiv Post!

Me too!

I’d vote for him in a heartbeat regardless of what party he was in!

That reminds me of when the full invasion of Ukraine in ‘22 happened, I was dumbfounded that the Kherson bridge hadn’t been blown up type second the invasion started thus saving all the territory north of Kherson. I thought to myself that sounds like a military 101 course! Come to find out that bridge had been set to explode sometime after 2014. As Glen said, it came out that the person in charge of that was, as Glenn said, a delayer! The person in charge was a Russian sympathizer or even agent and didn’t blow the bridge on purpose so the Russians could breeze right on in from the south! And the US had warned Zelensky and the top brass in Ukraine that their SBU was full of Ukrainians who were working for Russia or Russian sympathizers!

I sounds like the perfect Netflix project! It sounds fantastic. I'm an American very interested in history and know all about the Kievan Rus and Yaroslavl the Wise! I would love to see this made into a series. We really need to push back on the crazy Putinization of the history because nothing about his version is true! While the Kievy Rus were running a great society or as your guest said, an Empire, Moscow was a backwater Duchy beholden to the Golden Horde.

The Russian infrastructure is literally falling apart! We saw in the winter lack of electricity, heating problems, dams bursting causing horrible floods, giant potholes, burst water mains etc, etc!!

Thanks so much Chuck! Always interesting and educational with terminology any non military person can easily understand! This has become my favorite segment from the Kiev Post-sorry Jason! I like your work too!

Great interview Jason with one of my favorite military men and also an excellent friend to Ukraine! If General Hodges were still head of NATO Europe, I have no doubt that delivery of materiel to Ukraine would be delivered on a much more timely and regular basis! Love Kyiv Post and your contributions ❤️🇺🇦🇺🇸🇺🇦🇺🇸

Looking at the Luhansk theater troupe that is now defiantly performing despite Putin’s best efforts. That they are preserving the Ukrainian language, culture and literature is one of the best non-military ways of combatting Putin’s Rusky Mir goals. They are Ukrainian, will remain Ukrainian and will always be Ukrainian despite the tyranny of those in Moscow. When the Tzars tried to Russify Ukraine, every area had groups that made sure to retain what was Ukrainian. When Stalin tried, the same t 7:27 happened and this country will win against Putin too. When Putin goes on TV and tells the World that Ukraine is a fake country that never really existed and the people are really just Russian trouble makers, the 40 Million Ukrainians are determined to show him he’s wrong.

I love interviews with General Hodges! He is such a good friend to Ukraine and a huge supporter! I really wish he were still in charge of US forces in Europe. Then HE could talk to the new US House Speaker and be able to talk some sense into him! You know, there’s enough support in the House right now to pass the funding bill BUT first HE has to introduce the bill. HE can even vote NO and it will still pass. I watched the Senate hearing with Blinken and Austin today and of course, the Senate is no problem. The hearings also show how much of the Ukraine money stays in the US for the Defense Industry bringing jobs right here!

One reason-besides Nukes-that Russia was the 2nd Army in the world was its HUGE stockpile of weapons going back to WWII. That’s almost down to the bare bones now. March comes in like a lamb and out like a lion! I love it when Chuck reminds us that Ukraine, with no Navy has the vaunted Black Sea Fleet afraid to leave port. Ukraine with a bare bones Air Force is able to hit target after target with drones!
5
I especially love when Jonathon has Constantine from Inside Russia! He’s a Russian Economist so he can interpret the Russian economy and left Russia for Uzbekistan because he was Anti-War and Anti-Putin!
5
Once again the French are out of step!
5
Chuck never disappoints! Thanks to Jason for asking the right questions!

Since Russia had so many more nukes than anyone else, why on earth would they not just destroy the ones from Ukraine and Kazakhstan? Russia certainly did NOT need or deserve extra ones. Why did Kiev give up its planes which just sounds odd! I am an American who is completely embarrassed and heartbroken that my country is falling short of the Budapest memorandum. Thankfully, we have been sending a lot of weaponry to Ukraine along with the UK and others in Europe but we MUST do better. If not, Ukraine has every right to build Nukes and the world can’t do anything about it! I don’t know why NATO can’t just say that the minute the war is over, Ukraine will be in NATO!!!! And I’m angry that Biden is so afraid of Russias nukes that he won’t even do that!
5
So glad he understands that no one wants an insane neighbor next door!
5
TVP WAS and IS, under new management, Ukraine’s LARGEST supporter of Ukraine which has consistently kept our eye on Ukraine with many daily episodes around Ukraine or topics relevant to Ukraine, Poland and other near countries having past troubles with Russia.
4
I’m an American who is also VERY frustrated with the Republicans in Congress and angry that they are holding Ukraine funding hostage for a Southern Border problem that hasn’t been solved in 40 years! The border is the only campaign issue they have.
4
Blame the Senate for confirming these bozos!!!
4
Thanks so much! I love your interviews and Jason Smart are just the best!

See, I studied Russia from Peter the Great to present day as my retirement project. I was born the year NATO was born the year NATO was born n lived in the US all of the Cold War and lived near a missile base during the Cuban Missile Crisis. So Russia was always my enemy so after the Cold War, I never embraced Ru😢like many did so I delved into their history to try and understand my enemy. So I never believed Russia had changed. As a history lover I learned early on that you need to understand your enemy maybe more than they understand themselves!😊
4
I saw a Russian propaganda using actresses pretending to be wives but you can tell that their words are straight from the Kremlin because no one uses the language in the commercials!

Other countries put Putin in his place. They are I. Brics for PURELY economic reasons and are NOT interested in being political at all. They aren’t Anti-West or Anto-American. Most of the Countries in Brics were members of the Non-Aligned movement during the Cold War. NO ONE except Putin wants a Brics currency and pretty much just want free trade among members. Also there is a history of tension between Brics members and/or Invitees such as: India/China, Iran/Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia/Egypt and just at this meeting, India voted No regarding Turkey who is actually already in NATO!!!
3
As an American, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize sincerely for my country voting AGAINST Ukraine joining NATO. If it were up to the people, Ukraine would get an invitation today. We continue to support Ukraine with our donations BUT also with our hearts.
3
@dirusso3030 That’s great! I’d heard it had risen to 18% but I like 25% better!
3
The NATO thing was NEVER written in stone AND it’s been 35;years since the end of the Warsaw Pact so after that amount of time, it’s a whole new ballgame. Russia SHOULD have had at least 4, 2 term Presidents or 8, 1 term Presidents or a combination since the end of the USSR had Putin not co-opted the Presidency. Does anyone really think that after 4-8 Presidents anyone in Russia would have reacted to Ukraine wanting to join NATO? Also Putin invaded Crimea and Eastern Ukraine when all Ukraine ONLY wanted to join the EU. IN 2014, NO Ukrainians were even talking about joining NATO. THAT ONLY came up AFTER the 2022 full scale invasion. Puts has no one to blame for Ukraine applying to NATO. SOMEONE needs to remind trump of this.
3
When the Kremlin denies something then we KNOW they are behind it!
2
@dmitrinizovtsev3550 There are videos everywhere of citizens begging Putin to help them resolve these problems. The videos are posted online by people experiencing these problems. Just today there was a train derailment from rusted couplings.
2
Ben Hodges is such a good friend to Ukraine! I really wish BEN were an advisor to President Biden and then we’d see more action and less cautiousness!
2
Actually, AFU is striking much further into Russia with its own innovative armed drones and especially now it’s developed the Polynitsia all of which strike further than ATACMS or Storm Shadow do.
2
Nance says what I’ve been saying. Trump holds grudges. Trump blames Zelensky for his first impeachment and losing the 2020 election. Trump thinks he n Putin can gang up China n Iran. THANK YOU MALCOLM for pointing out that Russia is NOT a Superpower, it is a middlin’ country that has Nukes!
2
It’s not fair to call out Obama for not sending lethal weapons to Ukraine in ‘14. At that time EVERY leader in Europe was telling Obama to stay out of it. It’s a problem over there not OUR problem so Obama had no coalition willing to join and help Ukraine with Merkel being the worst! Even after the Russian takeover of Crimea and the East Germany went ahead with Nordstream II and had to be dragged into supplying Ukraine kicking and screaming at the start of this invasion! Poland actually SHAMED Germany into sending lethal aid.
2
On Solovs show, he was bowing down and praising Margareta Semenyon on her brilliant operation with Tenet and of course she talked about how easy it was and how stupid the Americans are. I would like to know what happened to Margareta when she was on her exchange program in the US as a girl that made her hate us so much? Did she get dumped, bullied or did she just drink the Stalin Soda about how wonderful the USSR was. WHY HAVE WE NEVER SEEN AN INTERVIEW WITH ANY OF THE AMERICANS SHE MADE FRIENDS WITH OR MAYBE SHE NEVER MADE FRIENDS?
2
@Haroun-El-Poussah A shuddering thought. I’d still like to hear from an American who knew her here when she was an exchange student!
2
I love your interviews Bohdan! I tune in when you are on TVP or yTimes Radio! This channel should have 10 times the subscribers!
2
Trump can’t do anything about the money already allocated this year. And Biden and the Pentagon can do a lot to get aid to Ukraine before January 20.
2
I’m watching this war very closely since the opening crossing of the border by Russia. I am a child of the Cold War and had great hopes for Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union. Alas I saw Vladimir Putin turn his back on joining Europe and the West but I never expected what I saw in 2014 n 2022. I’ve seen the great and swift growth of Ukraines military production with awe and happiness. I can’t wait until Ukraine has won and joined the EU. I think Ukraine is going to gibe Germany a run for its money in Military production. That will become a thriving part of the economy and I am excited for the future.
2
A thriving Democracy is one of the hardest types of governing to sustain. Why? Because unlike Authoritarian governments, Decocracies MUST have the full participation of the people! The people are the guarantors and watchdogs of Democracy. Example: After the Putin/Medyved dance when Putin was running against in 2012, the people should have risen up and said NO, you had two terms. They should have protested like the Georgians did like Hong Kongers, like Israelis, every Saturday for months. This is what it takes, the people as policemen.
2
I keep hearing about how Russia and China plus others want to challenge or eliminate the Rules based global order that we’ve been living under since the end of WWII, BUT I’ve never heard what if anything do they want to replace it with. Can anyone tell me? It seems with how globalized trade and other areas everything has become that there MUST be some rules or format for international dealings. It’s all very confusing.
2
The first interviewee was totally correct! Ukraine was NOT given the weapons that they needed for a successful offensive! The West would NEVER have attacked without Air parity or superiority yet we asked Ukraine to do it and admonished them when they weren’t successful!
2
Trump is an idiot! Russia does NOT have a “big powerful machine “ anymore for gods sake!! They are using Donkeys and Bohunka vans! Their tanks are shrinking faster than they can refurbish them. Russia has Nukes-THATS ALL!!
2
This is a great series! Thanks Chuck and thanks Kiev Post!
2
I would rather India as mediator than China pretending to be a peacemaker? I just saw where India’s and the world’s largest oil refinery is now NOT going to accept any oil from Russia’s largest oil exporter and turkey is starting to crack down on on Russian oil.
2
I hope the Ukrainian POW’s aren’t traveling with Navalny or they’ll never be found!
2
It’s going up to 18%!
2
What if it’s our own PRESIDENT who promotes Putin’s lies! He’s wrong about the media. The ‘Mainstream’ media is trying but the other side has made war on Media that gives the truth. Would be spy’s, bad actors etc do NOT watch media that tells the truth!
2
The first mistake the Russian people did was to ALLOW Yeltsin to just appoint the leader of the country. If the US President tried to just appoint his successor, both the right AND the left would be in the streets en masse! The people failed their first test and they failed again when Putin and Medvedev just switched places and failed again when Putin ran again in 2012.
2
I don’t think it’s an accident that Russia invaded just as Ukraine was in talks with Western Oil Companies, I believe BP, Standard/Chevron (Getty) and one other for rights to 3 newly discovered oil n gas fields-the biggest in Luhansk/Donetsk, Western Ukraine and in the Black Sea between Crimea and Odesa! Putin saw his gas and oil pipelines to Europe going away. I think it was Putin’s greed AND Rusky Mir.

Republic of Korea Intelligence reported yesterday that 1500 troops from the North were on their way to Russia with 12,000 to follow.
