  1. I reall'y wish General Hodges was still at the helm of the US military in Europe! I like General Milley a lot but Ben has REALLY been a huge supporter of Ukraine for a very long time. If he were still the top US Military man in Europe, I have no doubt he would really be pushing for tanks, Atacms and F16's and wouldn't be put off by all of Putin's continuous saber rattling! Of course, he would have to follow orders from the President and Secretary Austin but I know he would really be pushing for faster deliveries and heavier weapons earlier AND most importantly, he knows how important Crimea is for Ukraine to control or this war will never be really over with Russia continuing to control the Black Sea. It was VERY unhelpful for Secretary Blinken to say that the taking back of Crimea from Russia might be a bridge too far and that is the wrong thing to say. Ukraine needs ALL of its territory back NOT just the territory it held after Russia's 2014 invasion which territories were taken illegally and Russia needs to NOT get away with keeping it! The fear of escalation the West has continually shown during this is doing nothing but feeding Vladimir Putin's narcissism and just fuels him to even more saber rattling and builds his ego while making the West look very weak and afraid.
