  10. While I'm not the biggest fan of America and I do understand what you mean by them trying to Americanise Europe and Britain. Unfortunately, the dominant culture wins and we only have ourselves to blame. You could argue that we had a massive influence in turning the US into the major capitalist giant that it is now. in the 1800's we had wars in America trying to install a central bank.

  22. I'm not particularly keen. But sometimes I can't help but act American in some respects. My grandad hated American culture too. He's used to go mad if my dad said words such 'fab' or 'wicked' like in American culture in the 60's.

  27. There was no soft or hard Brexit. There was simply Brexit which meant leaving the EU and all it's institutions.
