Both my grandparents who fought in the Second World War voted to leave the EU.

@daikucoffee5316 no, they see their country declining and preferred this country before we joined the EU.

@flatoutflatbroke they seemed to enjoy it more than the current state of Britain with an ever growing immigrant population, Islamic terrorism, political correctness, affordable housing with moral and cultural decline. Yes we're projected to have a large population than Germany in 50 years so that could mean a bigger economy. Unfortunately, higher nominal GDP doesn't take into account social aspects.

The younger ones are too busy advocating gender neutral toilets lol.

Both my grandparents fought in the war and voted to leave. Maybe respect their vote?

Russia most certainly did not do it alone? But Stalin didn't really care how many Russians died in order to defeat the Nazis. Returning Russians would have either been shot or sent to Siberia.

@emm_arr look how much the young immigrant-lings post about race.

If that's the case why did so many large multinationals such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and numerous others support Remain and donate millions directly and indirectly to the campaign? Also, Farage has been a eurosceptic long before 2015.

@laplumedemaat6374 remember how the Soviet Union had un-elected commissars and had the supreme soviet which basically rubber stamped everything without question. Now what other organisation works in practically the exact same way? Hmmmm

@swanpride who knows? My mum's Dad has only been to a GP once and that was in the late 60's when he had pneumonia.

I agree. I find the EU has far more similarities between the Soviet Union. At least in terms of how it is structured. Both my grandparents who fought in the war voted to leave the EU.

Yes patriotism is something we value. Maybe because Belgium isn't a real country it might not be as common place?

Yasmine Steinbauer yes and some people would sooner have a good life under a caliphate, some under a Zionist controlled world, some under a Christian theocratic regime.

@yasminesteinbauer8565 well yes the Second Word War is one of the biggest events in human history. Maybe it's a good thing it isn't forgotten?
