  1. India buys about £25 billion a year from the UK, and companies like Tata invest. After what we did to India under the EIC and the Raj, we need to stay friends with them. As for Rwanda, that was a Conservative scam.

  2. I don't think you realise that most foreign aid comes back in the form of trade. If you support the development of other countries and they grow, your trade with them will increase due to friendly relations. The US doesn't "fund" everything. Almost all their foreign aid comes with heavy strings attached. It's basically a way of enforcing their power around the world - and if it stops, China will be in like a shot as they already are in Panama and Colombia. Rwanda, though, that was a Conservative scam.
