  1. Because it is actually weak, Jewish population not much bigger than Scotland. Israel has advanced weapons but a limited number of people who can operate them, who cannot easily be replaced. This is why the worst soldiers are invading Gaza; they cannot afford to use the good ones. Terrorism actually involves the least risk to Israeli forces.
