  1. Actually the IQ level to join Mensa used to be around 130 S-B. It's typical of someone as trivial and lacking in depth as Vance to throw IQs around, when what really matters is the ability for sustained thought applied to a complex subject - what gets you a PhD rather than a law degree, which tends to emphasise short term thinking, appeal to the emotions and nitpicking. Stewart's record speaks for itself. I have an IQ in the 140s and I reckon Stewart's at the top end of the range. Vance probably has a very high IQ but of the garbage in, garbage out variety. A test you do in an hour or so is no evidence that you can weigh the pros and cons of different theories of government, it's the difference between being fast at arithmetic and being able to pick up a company's strength and weaknesses from a set of accounts.

It's a shame that the Ivy League educated people at Foggy Bottom could prost****e themselves to produce this, but then it's an equal shame that the Oxford educated members of the Conservative Party can also lie with a straight face. The motto of Oxford is "Dominus illuminatio mea", the Lord is my light, and the motto of Yale is "Lux et veritas", so at least they are both equally hypocritical when it comes to politics.
