@leelhasa6294 It was illegal, and a threat to their nations national security. And what you speak of happened over half a century ago. A lot of countries including developed nations like the US also committed atrocities as well. You speak as if they dont as well.

@cosmogally1964 "Your saying just because 15 million people is 1% of the country, its fine to do what the chinese are doing?" Did I say it was "fine"? I said you judging China based on how they treat 1% is wrong. Theyre doing much much better than they were 50 years ago. "Also protesting is not a Risk to National Security, its a Risk to the Party's Power, its a risk to the people at the very top" Chinas whole government structure is based upon 1 ruling party. To topple that party is to topple the whole country. That itself is a national security threat to CCP aka China. Ultimately, if a country says its illegal, then its illegal. Just dont break the law in that country and youll be fine. "Also what evidence do you have that the US censor these supposed "damaging" content, if you search on Youtube you can see a LOT of videos critising the US government" Can you read? I never said the "US" censors these "damaging" content. I said US COMPANIES like youtube do. I cant even say anything "offensive" on youtube now. I can type it, but it doesnt show up in public. Coz some sensitive loser flagged me or sth. Youtube censors people and take down videos that are flagged. That itself is censorship.

@cosmogally1964 "How was it a threat to National Security" Because China is a Communist state. And movement towards democracy is subverting the ruling states power. That itself is illegal and a threat to their national security. "Protesting being illegal is not very democratic" Who said China is democratic? "though they changed massively financially, they've gotten much worse in Censorship and Government control... just look at the Xinjiang 're-education' camps and the constant abuse of Tibetans by the Chinese Defence Agencies" Errr Xinjiang and Tibet has a combined population of less than 15million Uyghurs and Tibetans. Thats 1% of Chinas population. Why is that you determine how a whole country has grown by the management of that 1%? There is a reason why China treats the 1% that way. And thats assuming they treaty 100% of the Uyghurs and Tibetans that way and both you and I know thats false. China treats terrorist bad. Not average Uyghurs/Tibetans. Get it right. "Also remember that China doesnt have a Free Internet, and Censors almost ALL Anti-CCP Videos, Articles, Comments and Blogs on the Internet" Funny, a lot of US companies censor a lot of "damaging" content on their platforms as well. Just like Youtube. Your freedom of speech is limited on this platform. They censor "offensive" comments. And take down "deceptive" videos.
