ValiantPixel Russia wouuldnt have let that happen in the first place. And Ukraine is NO WHERE near eligible as join NATO as it has very strict criteria.

But if you look at history, US is the one deploying their nuclear weapons closer to Russia, you think deploying nukes near your country is not a "threat"? "Are they then faster during an invasion or what?" What? That didnt make any sense. What are you trying to say here? "The number of soldiers remain the same and they could be at the border quickly before too😂" What are you talking about? Having a military base close to your "enemy" means you can detect everything they do within a certain area. Basically easy access to spying. Is that not a threat? "The countermeasures would come because Putin‘s ego is threatened and because sovereign nations don‘t do what Putin wants - what a surprise, they are sovereign" Oh anyone and everyone can do whatever they want in this world. But that doesnt mean the things they do is without consequences. Based on your logic, "USAs ego is threatened" when Cuba decided to accept Russian nukes into their borders. Got anything to say about that?

@Techinvestor567 NATO/US has a history of deploying military infrastructure closer to Russia as much as possible. So yeh, "nothing is going to change" in that sense. Ill repeat my previous comment to you: '"Joining" NATO isnt the threat. Its the deployment of military infrastructure near their border that will warrant countermeasures'
