@TeeHee-vo1bn Im sure any car that is modified anywhere will increase the risk factor as theres no international standardised quality assurance for that anywhere. So Im not sure whats the point in you adding the word "poor" in there. VW Tiguan isnt exactly "cheap", so I doubt the modification was "cheap" too.

@TeeHee-vo1bn I said there is no international standardised quality assurance for it, not that the "parts" arent of quality. It may or may not be, you dont know. But the installation of the parts need to be of quality installations too. And my point was that theres no standardised quality assurance for installing modified parts anywhere in the world. Heck he mightve even done it himself. You dont know.

@TeeHee-vo1bn What do you mean "for no reason"? Cant you see that the car has crashed? The back is smashed and the door is crumpled. And modified cars have not undergone any large scale testing like car companies do. By logic, modified cars in general are less safe than normal cars (unless the specific modification was to enhance safety).

And you dont know exactly the extent of the damage. So you cant say its not that serious. The back and sides were smashed with debris dropping far back from 20m+ away.

@TeeHee-vo1bn And who said modified cars mean "upgrades"? If a car "upgraded" their 17 inch wheel to a 24 inch wheel. Is that "upgraded" care more safe or less safe? If a car is modified that its front is lowered to a much lower angle, is that also an "upgrade" when it makes it less safe?

@TeeHee-vo1bn You even said it yourself, the keyword you used was "can". But the word used here is "modified". You have zero information on what modification it is. So you dont have to keep suggesting it that it is an "upgrade". And like I said, modified cars have not undergone any large scale testing like car manufacturers have done. You keep talking about the "parts", you exclude the installation, compatibility and the mass testing. And the parts could be "superior", what ever that means. But "superior" or "improvements" does not equate to "safer", which was my point. As for the wheel, you see, this you can understand. There are limitations of the wheel "upgrade" that can compromise the safety of the car. Which again, was my point. And wheels are a common "upgrade" and theres plenty of testing done for that with reviews. Other parts, not so much. Which was again, my point.

@TeeHee-vo1bn As for how much you can lower? You can touch the floor if you want. Theres no limit there. All can be modified. But it wont be safe, which was my point. Modifications most of the time are less safe than what it wouldve been without modification because theres no recognised standard for quality assurance when it comes to mass testing, especially to each specific car model.
