@MomiAubrey It is Chinese...

@SaviorCydelor No. Taiwan accent sounds exactly the same as those in Fujian province, where their ancestors are from.

@Nancy-rx8ph I see that you recognise that TW is part of China

@lines6815 Tell that to OP who he himself brought up politics when "people are literally dying"

@banimusa8478 I see you recognise that TW is part of China

@Furiousbanner According to "Taiwans" very own constitution, Taiwan is part of CN

@Furiousbanner What do you mean by "yet"? TWs government, Republic of CHINA is a founding member of the UN, formally known then as the country called "China". But due to civil war, they lost all their territory except for the island of TW. But make no mistake, the country that Republic of CHINA still claims to be is the country called CHINA. Its in their name and constitution. And mind you, civil war means war within the SAME country. So theyre not "another" country. And I didnt say anything about a "little town". So not sure why you even brought that up in your comment to me

@veralicious. No you know whats funny? Literally 99% of the countries in this world recognises TW as part of China. Thats the prerequisite for ANY country to be in a diplomatic relationship with China, so they all recognise that. Even TWs very own government themselves recognise themselves as part of China! Just read up their constitution! So what does that tell us? Also, Im also outside of China, and knows TW isnt a "country". What does that also tell you? If you want to be politically ignorant, then be politically ignorant yourself. Dont lump politically informed people together with you.

@veralicious. If you can read, Ive addressed that point of yours already. Most people in this world are politically ignorant about countries other than their own. I bet they wont even know that the government of TW, Republic of CHINA, officially claims to be the country called CHINA, and insists that TW is part of CHINA. Just read up their constitution!

@Furiousbanner Depends which generation, and how politically educated they are. The older generation for sure understand that they are part of China. Mid-age they also understand. Its the younger ones that dont understand and want to have a separate identity. But, just because you "want" to be another country, doesnt mean you will. Theyre literally officially in midst of a civil war with mainland China. The Chinese Civil War from decades back never officially ended. No armistice nor peace treaty was ever signed. Civil war could resume anytime if thing take an unexpected turn, like you know, TW claiming theyre not part of China? Again, just read up the "Taiwans" very own constitution. Its set in stone. They are part of China whether you, they, or whoever likes it or not. Look, even the former president of TW (Ma Ying-jeou) is in mainland China now paying his respects to his Republic of Chinas founder (Sun Yat-sen) and gives a speech saying "we Chinese" etc etc. That tells you everything you need to know already. TW is part of China. Period.

@veralicious. Recognise that Taiwan has the right to travel, but not recognise them as a "country". Like I said, even the government of Taiwan doesnt even see "Taiwan" as a country. Who are you or anyone to say that they are? Just read up their constitution. Even they themselves recognise the island of Taiwan as part of CN.
