They had a choice to get married first then have a child, and they had a choice to use condoms, and they had a choice to abort. Men is also at fault, but the fault primarily lies on the women because ultimately shes the one with the power to say "no" - has power over her body. "The mother is playing her part to care for the child.... Where are the fathers????" Yes, they should "punish" the men involved too. Im sure theres also child support in China. "I don't know if you are even familar with Christian religion.... But even Jesus was raised by a stepfather." Different culture, different religion. Moreover, Mary was not "tainted" by another man. And was Joseph was directed by an angel to raise him.

@Otter-Destruction People are ok with paying taxes for the most part because they are USING part of the system. Whether itd be roads, education, public health care etc they will at time point use it in their lives. Paying for another persons baby? People are already having a tough time paying their bills. Most will not even bother paying for others. If you dont believe me just ask around
