Theyre mainly raw commodity like grains, and a lot of them are fed to animals, and China has diversified the imports of grains so all they need to buy 10% more from each country to make up for it. Now, who consumes Chinese products imported to the US? Everyday Americans, especially the lower and middle class. 60% of the US live paycheck to paycheck. Pressuring them even more will inevitably cause crime rates to spike, which will in turn damage no only American businesses, but everyday Americans as well, as well as causing tax revenue to decrease and tax expenditure to increase. Who has more to lose again?

@top14bup And US crime rates are going to go up. Inflation is also no joke. Especially when 60% of America lives paycheck to paycheck

@feisalboudghene228 Thats not the point of my comment. My comment is pointing out that youre wrong in saying Chinas the only country with tariffs. The US currently has tariffs on many countries.
